CEED 2006-07 DOCUMENTS LINK
The purpose of the CEED Grant Program is to 1) increase the array and depth of educational programs delivered at VCCS colleges via E-Learning. Programs may be credit (degree, diploma, certificate) or non-credit and 2) expand access and opportunities across the commonwealth to programs in critical need employment areas that may not be available currently from their local community college.
Biology Labs

Mountain Empire Biology 101 & 102 lectures and E-labs developed and replicated for Dual Enrollment
Piedmont Virginia Added two new online/kitchen based labs for online Biology 101, Breeze training resulted in interactive quizzes and videos, and tutoring is now available for online Biology students.
     
Veterinary Technology
Blue Ridge Addition of Thomas Nelson as a receiving site for the distance learning Veterinary Technology program. This expands the program to include Virginia Western, Tidewater, John Tyler, Thomas Nelson, and Blue Ridge. Link to Blue Ridge Vet Tech program.

Virginia Western Diane and robot

As a pilot project, ITD120 Mobile Programming course was created as a 3 credit course E-learning and then adapted as a non-credit workforce development class.
