PURPOSE:

To provide a web-based application for customers to self-actuate the creation, modification and lookup of customer account information.  The value of utilizing this service is that a single customer account provides access to all automated services and applications.  This pseudo-single sign-on validates application access information and allows a customer to use VCCS resources.  This information is passed to applications resulting in a customer needing only to remember one account for many services.

 

Note:  IP addresses should be obtained from college or Utility Help Desk.

To create a customer account:

A customer enters an account name, password and a pin #.  The pin # is used as additional level of security when a customer wishes to change their password.  Customer id’s must be unique and adhere to application screening requirements. 

The messaging system passes information to applications the person is authorized to access.

To Create Email Account on Supported Servers:

 

Email servers that participate in the Directory Services concept may utilize the automated CAAM to create email accounts and change password.
