The VCCNet ATM Network Project consists of three major activities or mini-projects. The first is replacing the current leased line network with ATM transport provided by "NET.WORK.VIRGINIA." The second is expanding the VCCS Compressed Video Network to include all campuses, and coverting it to ATM transport. The third is converting the VCCNet from SNA to TCP/IP as the network transport protocol.
