1.Caller off-campus enters 7 digit access
number.
2.The PBX or Centrex will pass a 10 digit
number to the 3640. Callers using a Call Manager site must
enter the special 10 digit number for the college to
access the SIS/IVR unit.
4. Remote 3640
Router accepts 10 digit phone number, strips first six
digits and forwards the remaining digits to the SIS/IVR unit. The SIS/IVR then invokes a College
greeting script based on the last four digits, which represent the colleges
agency code.

phone number to an IP Address and routes across the
network
Note: The gatekeeper is not involved with calls to the
SIS/IVR unit. All calls to the SIS/IVR units are point to point.
