J. Sargent Reynolds CC - Early College Scholars and Expanded Dual Enrollment Program - To develop and pilot a structured dual enrollment program for seniors at our rural county partner high schools in response to Governor Warner’s Early College Scholars Program.

Piedmont CC - First Year Success - SDV. 101: First Year Success is a dynamic, intensive 10 week course designed to connect all first time, first year students to essential college resources and support services during their first year. Students become immersed in the college culture, become actively engaged in the learning process, and experience academic success.

Patrick Henry CC - Developmental Studies - Target Population is underprepared students. A major objective of the program is develop in each learner the skills and attitudes necessary for the attainment of academic, career, and life goals.

Patrick Henry CC - Integrated Testing, Advising, and Career Center - The nature of the Center is a multifaceted, long-term project that aims to boost the retention of students in general. By placing testing, advising and career services in the same place and incorporating services, the thought is that retention will be increased a minimum of 10% over a three-four year period

Patrick Henry CC - Peer Tutoring - Patrick Henry Community College offers a nationally certified peer tutoring program which provides all students with academic, study skills and motivational support needed to successfully complete their courses.
