Pathway to Excellence - Guaranteed Admission Initiative

The Virginia Community College System signed a innovative new Guaranteed Admissions Agreement with the Virginia Tech College of Agriculture and Life Sciences on October 25, 2004.

Governor Mark Warner presided over the signing of the agreement, which will be in effect immediately.

Students will be guaranteed admission into the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences after completion of the associate's degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0, a signed letter of intent, and the completion of specified curriculum to meet basic requirements in consultation with college advisors within the Virginia Community College System (VCCS) and Virginia Tech.
