ACT
CENTERS IN VIRGINIA
The Virginia
Community College System (VCCS) and ACT, Inc. have partnered to
bring two state-of-the-art ACT Centers to Virginia. These centers,
located at Thomas Nelson and
Central Virginia Community Colleges are part of a growing network
of centers nationwide that offer ACT's training and testing services
to individuals, employers, organizations and the military.

ACT Center for Workforce Productivity Solutions
There are also
two ACT Testing Centers located at Northern Virginia Community College
and J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College. Now, testing for
certifications and licensure is close and accessible to where you
live.
Northern
Virginia Community College ACT Testing Center

The two regional
ACT Centers provide computer-delivered certification and licensure
tests for the trades and professions. All of the centers are authorized
to provide high stakes testing in a secure environment for certain
areas of health care, law, actuarial sciences, engineering, automotive
technology, social work, and other professions.
With a courseware
catalog of 2,388 workforce development titles created by
leading training providers, ACT Centers will offer just-in-time,
on-demand training over the Internet to individuals or to
entire
companies.
ACT Centers will
also provide WorkKeys
computerized assessments to give employers a reliable, meaningful
way to identify workers who have the skills required for specific
jobs and to identify the training needs of those are in need of
them.
